Exhibition Freighting

In 2003 Exhibition Freighting, the shipping agent of a major engine manufacturer approached Databiz to design an booking system for a fleet of highly polished display engines for use at exhibitions around the world. 
These sites were to be protected by user log in and password and are only accessible from within the dealer areas of the web sites.

The finished system allows users to reserve the equipment they wish to exhibit on their stand and checks to ensure that the item is not already booked out for another user. It works much like a hotel booking system

When the booking is confirmed the system automatically emails the relevent people within Exhibition Frieghting so they can arrange for delivery and collection.

Any changes to the booking by any user whether admin or visitor are emailed to all the relevent people to keep all users fully informed of the current booking status.
