Exhibition Freighting Ltd are an international logistics company specialising in shipping large items  for display at trade shows around the world.

They had a database that tracked these items but required more data to be captured and additional functionality such as invoicing, emailing, and other documentation generation.

All employees can access the database as it is held on a local server. The system is based on an 
Access database with a Visual Basic front end.

Similar to the EF-Travel Web based system Exhibition Freighting can add and edit Clients, Exhibitions, Agents and suppliers to the database. 

All documents produced by the system contain a user signature and are saved every action is logged by date time and user ID. There is a management system built into the program that allows managers to check the activity of staff on the database.

Invoices are generated automatically based on  a previously entered tariff, weight volume and number of items shipped. This can be manually overwritten if required by the users.

New updates to the program are remotley uploaded to their local server and each time a user starts the program it checks for updates which if available are automatically downloaded to the users machine and installed restarting the program without user interaction.
