DataPool is a unique program that has been designed to extract data
from web sites (Web Crawling / Web Spider ). It can be configured to parse through web pages,
text, tables, and forms. Ideal for building price comparison systems
news feeds or databases. Works for both framed and non framed web pages!
Modules include:
- Cell Dump - Gets data from all tables
and cells on a web site. Produces table number row number cell number
and content of each cell.
- Get Cell Text - Retrieves data from a
specific table, row and cell on a web site
- Count Rows - Counts the number of rows
in a specific HTML table
- Find Main Table - Finds the largest
table on a web page.
- Find Main Frame - Finds url of the
largest Frame on a web page
- Link Click - Automatically clicks
links, buttons or pictures on a web page
- Picture and Link Dump - Produces a list
off all the pictures and links on a web page
- Form Dump - lists all the data held in
all the forms on a web page, including form names and content.
- Form Set - Automatically fills in forms
on web pages.
- Form Submit - Automatically submits web
forms
- Frame Dump - Lists all the urls of
frames contained on a web page.
- Get Paragraph - Retrieves the text from
a specified paragraph.
